Abstract

|
A 42-year-old woman presented with a 5 weeks history of refractory headache. The throbbing headache with nausea was intervened by attack of thunderclap headache with vomiting and visual disturbance. These symptoms appeared about 2 months after she had started taking tacrolimus for Behcet¡¯s disease. Brain MRI and CSF study showed no abnormal findings. Her headache last even several medications, and it improved after stopping the tacrolimus. We have to notice
the tacrolimus could cause the severe refractory headache attributed to long-term use of non-headache medication.
